The leather seats, to look good I would say had to be done professionally. Unless you get some good quality seat covers made for the car that replace the old skins. And then you would have to know how to properly install them. So that might be either a little harder or more expensive....or both than you thought.

The LED color change always looks good, take your time and decide though, there are lots of colors and lots of combos possible. Think about it and choose the right color(s) before you do it. Look for some pics on the site to get some ideas.

The exterior trim conversion from a 91? Why a 91? Do you already have it? I'm just wondering because from 89-92 will work...I'm not sure why you chose that specific year.

Also, do you intend to paint the car yourself in the garage? Is this your house you're talking about or when you say garage do you mean a shop? If you plan to get it painted (don't do it in your house garage you will regret it, it won't last well), decide if you want to do any body mods beforehand.

The new windshield you can install yourself if you know what you're doing, but if you do I guess I don't need to tell you that. Though if you don't take it to a shop, or there are people that come to your house and do it.

The R154, I wouldn't bother to put on in unless yours has problems right now or you are going to do a turbo swap. It would probably be better to wait until the swap or to source one now and start rebuilding it.

But before all of this, make sure all of the maintenance on the car is done. Tune-up, fluid flushes, adjustments, etc.

Thats not true, it all depends on how the work is done. I've got a buddy who has been painting hot rods in his garage for 30+ years now and his work is second to none. Prep work is the biggest factor in making the paint last and how well it turns out. No matter how good you are with the gun, if your prep work is crap your paint will be too.:sarcasm: :icon_bigg

I know a few people who paint their cars in their garage as well, mostly because they are off road or winter beaters. They are properly prepped, but they don't really last long or cure well. I guess it depends from person to person garage to garage.

My plans are:

Replace the rear suspension bushings and shocks
Fix body moldings
Fix the mud flap/trim peice (clips are rusty and broken)
Clean up the sawblades
Fix the exhaust leak

Hopefully:

Paint the front bumper and fix the tiny rust spot on my front fender
replace the pass. fender(dent)
Buy new tires
