I was wondering if anyone had a extra product key from windows xp? I have the software legit from installing it on my parents computer but i want to upgrade my own comp w/o buying xp again.(i need key) So if anyone has changed to vista, can i use your product key?:naughty: Thanks

Why don't you just tell them you reformatted your hard drive.

So i just call the 1-800 number and say that i reformated the drive and i can use that product key? :icon_conf

yep...it works. You will speak to someone in India..they will hold your hand like a child and make you input that combination of 1 million digits ...oh yeah..they are very polite btw lol...yes tell them you had reintalled on the drive because MS crashed...
