Thanks for contacting me as soon as possible about any problems you are having.
Did you follow all of the Installation instructions?

Can you post a photo of how you have them installed?
The Caliper brackets do flex, by my measurements its less than 1mm under extreemly heavy braking. That usually results in the aft side of the caliper being drawn closer to the rotor center. This would suggest that the forward (trailing) portion of the caliper is possibly drawn away from the rotor center, but I cannot confirm this, as all the wheels I have tested with have had plenty of clearance.
How did you measure the 4mm of clearance? Can you post a photo of the measurement and where you took it?
BTW I make no claims that these brakes will work with any and all 17 inch wheels. If you have to space your wheels out just to clear the Brakes I would recommend a different set of wheels. As a matter of fact I dont remember you mentioning exactly what size and make wheels you have.
To make sure you are getting an accurate measurement I would try modeling clay stuck to the inside of the rim and rotating the wheel and seeing if you actually get 4mm of clearance. I find it very surprising that the wheels or the calipers, or the bracket allow that much movement. Then again you did not elaborate on where that clearance was measured (radially, axially, a combination?).
Again please post a photo of how you are taking your measurement, and if you could, could you please post a photo of how the fasteners are arranged on the caliper bracket and the caliper.
So let me clarify, When exactly did you replce your wheel bearings? How did you establish there is NO play in the bearings? You didnt share this with everybody
