ok, well not exactly. It turns out that my new roommate and I dont get along. Amazing, since we've known each other for a long time and never had fights before. Apparently now in close proximity we cant communicate very well. Anyway, its a long story but it turns out that I will not be staying very long in Houston and am looking for other opportunities.

Im gonna sell off pretty much everything I own (for sale thread coming soon) and travel light. Anyone have a room for rent that comes with garage space and need a live in mechanic to help them finish a supra project?

Ok, well while Im sorta serious I dont really have any delusions that I can find a job and a place to live in off topic, lol. I just thought I would express how much I hate it here in Houston with this guy.

Houston ain't that bad dude. It's just who you're living with that's killing the experience. BTW, did you make it out to the Planet Zero meet the other night? I heard an SRT-4 owner swung at cops, got the beat down, and got his car towed away.

I wonder if the place that Phoenix6 is staying at is willing to take on another roommate.....

You can always post on www.houston-imports.com/forums and see if anyone's looking for a roommate.

I'd offer you a place to stay, but I live in a 2-bedroom apartment with mi madre and hermano. Now that I think about it......I'll ask to see if one of the Celica guys is willing to take on a roommate.

Kinda hard to do that with my can in about 1000 pieces! lol

Yeah, the roommate is killing any experience here. But yeah, I can tell you I aint staying here. Of the places Ive been in my life (Ive lived in 7 different states) This ranks right about the bottom of the list, and its not EVEN summer yet.

Thanks for the thought though. I was kinda leaning for a bit more temperate climate.

If I still had my Celica with me and had known you were living in town, I would've taken you and Phoenix6 down to PZ in spite of the rain. Not much to show with a Camry though. :icon_conf :nono:

Yeah, no prob. "It's not the heat that'll kill ya, it'll be the humidity." "If you don't like Houston's weather, just wait about an hour." :biglaugh: Steven (STM Steven 89 on AIM) told me you were thinking about packin' to Austin after this. I can't say much about that place as I haven't been there for longer than a day, but I've heard it's a great place to live. You could always hit up craigslist.org to see what you can find.

Either way, we're hoping for the best for ya.

BTW, SELL ME YOUR CAR!:biglaugh: :naughty:

Oh yeah, you won't have to worry all that much about hurricane season too when it comes around after you move further in.

Well you Houston area guys are suddenly coming outta the woodwork, lol. I didnt even know how many thre were here. Last night I got in this big discussion with my roomy and it turned south. Hes a drinker and Im sober about 16months now. Needless to say it wasnt a meeting of the minds, but anyway, I grabbed my dog and went for a walk and low and behold there is a 3E5 pre89 NA like a block and a half south of me. Never noticed it till last night.

Yeah I was kinda ranting to Steven yesterday, but things were a bit calmed today. Being without transportation until my roommate get done with his day is cramping my style a bit.

I'll pay for gas if someone wants to help me get my parts back from Scroggins when they are done. :)

ohh yeah, and I have been looking at craigslist, but there arent many people hiring mid-life crisis Supra driving foggies with film degrees and a hankering to "tinker". ;)

My level of income won't allow me to own a Supra, so I'm just around lurking and occasionally asking general questions.

Fodren and Braeswood.....i may be passing through that area this weekend on my way down to Bellaire.

where's Scroggin?
