hospital cafeteria here...can't complain when you have shift differentials, paid vacation, insurance out the wazoo, and stand around all day making $9 an hour for it...especially when your only 17.

.....plus i like hitting on all the single nurses :naughty:

I work at a warehouse, it averages out to like $15.00 an hour + 5-10 hrs overtime a week. It's alright, just working to finish the supra / pay bills, then I'm back to school. oh, i work the night shift though, been doing it 4 years now, way too long.. I need to find another job or shift... im also sick of physical labor.

Day Job - engineer for microwave antenna n satellite systems.
Nite job - Mechanical engineering and machining.
3rd Job - Making supra products and selling.
4th Job - Trying to have a life.

So far I have not spent much money on my Supra...Just saving up money and more money so I can open up a electronic/electrical business to design emergency lighting and controllers and installation of lighting and electronics for the Police, Fire truck, ambulance and military and others. These government contracts earn huge amounts of money.

Cheers,
Roy

Thanks to everyone for responding, it's pretty amazing to me, the diversity we have going. All different in many ways, except for our love for supras.

Roy, try working on your 4th job a little more every now and then.

Shaeff, I knew you were nothing but honest. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Wingman, nothing wrong with hitting on nurses. I married an X-Ray tech.......;)

CT, Mad love and respect for the National Guard...........lol

Now everyone go in and ask for a raise, so we can all get a turbo upgrade. Not all of us need one, but most of us would love to have one. Don't work too hard.................lol

I thought the same thing when I signed up for Xray school... come to find out if they're under 25 and coming in for Xrays they're either WAY overweight or just fugly. Although there was that time I had to do that lengthy exam on that Colts cheerleader. That's pretty much it.

Single Nurses are ussually single for a reason, btw. :icon_bigg The one's that are married/engaged are the only ones that will actually talk to me.

My current job is radiology transport on Saturdays, work 5-8 hrs/week and after I hit up the cafe for food for the week I ussually bring home about $25 or so. :icon_conf I also trim cemeteries (<-- the money maker) and work on cars but I can't call that a steady job, more of a profitable hobby I guess.

Spent the last 6 years in the Air Force as Security Forces... a year of that time was spent in Iraq (hence why i got the hell out!). Just seperated from the AF this month and now going to Peace Officer Academy, then hopefully get offered a job by a local Police/Sheriff's office. After all that, start school towards a Criminal Justice degree. Sadly, my Supra is on the far, far back burner right now. :nono:

about 20 minutes from my house, haha. i'm not stocking liquor, i'm un-stocking it. ;)

there's a huge conveyer belt system, and i'm one of the dudes who fills out orders, along with 35 other guys. we get stacks of papers called trips. each trip has 25-30 invoices with as many as 100 cases per invoice.

we take the products and throw it on the conveyer belt all night. (7pm-5am) it goes around the belt, is checked, and loaded by the truck loaders. :)

our error rate is less than 1.5% at this point in time. we're kickin' ass.

I own & operate a rebar detailing & estimating company. I basically unfuck the structural design for Engineers. Pays well, but I have to work a shitload of hours, usually 70+ a week. This is one of the reasons my car isn't running again as of yet, no time to put it back together.....
