From what i understand, these are fine for daily driving. Just don't expect for it to hold up at the strip or track!

sorry to drag up a thread, but Im in search for a clutch for my swap, one of the few parts remaining but I might be getting a turbo car for 500 with a toasted motor, so I might not even need it, and from my research the gte and ge clutch disks are identical, anyone will work. I got that info from the MK2 guys that have turboed their cars and have upgraded the clutch for the extra power. I dont know much about transmissions, but from what they told me, a larger input shaft will not allow you to use a clutch from a later model supra. Maybe the info passed on to me was wrong but Im assuming that since they had actual experience with it, they would have some extra insight. But like I said, if im wrong please give me the heads up and let me know! Id rather be in the know rather than be wrong, ya know!
