Hi. I've tried searching but couldnt find anything. I'm intrested of where and why people thought putting n/a cams in a gte would be beneficial. Is it beneficial? My turbo head is going in the pooper and i have a MINT n/a head laying around.

I've heard that with the N/A cams that the valves don't open as much but the open for longer (longer duration).... somebody please correct me if i'm wrong.
The 7MGE intake camshaft I picked up, measured out @ 38.13mm - exactly what my turbo intake cam measured out at. The difference was about 10 degrees more duration, though. By the TSRM, two brand new cams, then yes - the turbo cam is supposed to have more lift, and less duration.
Quit bein a cheap ass and kick out the $1600 for a set of cams that will give you more lift and duration. lol. JK. I know how it is lookin for the best cheap mod you can find. Home Depot is my friend.
