Hi, I have a JDM-Spec GA70 twin-turbo Aerotop and I have been after the TRD MKIII Strut Tower bar for ages, but they are so rare I cannot find one anywhere (TRD 53680 - JA700), but I have been told by a number of people that the TRD Strut Tower Bar for the JZA80 MKIV Supra will fit with no modifications. Is this correct? (53607-JA810)

I also own a MKIV Supra TT, but I can't fit the TRD brace to this as it is a UK-Spec TT with the factory-Fitted Aero bonnet.

Kurt! :)

Strut tower bars do nothing on these cars except add weight and look pretty, if that's your thing.

You can thank awesome double wishbone suspension for that!

Think one of the holes in the brace doesn't line up quite right, and if it doesn't clear the engine you could use spacers to raise it up...

No it will not fit, you will have to cut off the mounting plates, reweld them and also shorten the tower alittle.

Yes you do. Have you ever made a MKIV TRD Strut tower fit on a MK3 ??? I have tried re drilling holes to make it fit and It will not work. I have made more then on MKIV strut tower fit on a MK3 and re drilling will not cut it.

To do it correctly you will have to cut off the mounting plate, shave the ends of the tower to sit correctly and tac and weld it together.
