will a mk2 hood fit on a mk3??????????????

i found a sweet carbon fiber hood for the mk2 with a integrated hood scoop and i was just seeing if a mk2 hood would fit on my 87 mk3??? SOMEONE'S GOTTA KNOW!!!!!!!

short answer, no. long answer, no. it'd probably be cheaper to custom make a carbon mk3 hood than try to modify a carbon mk2 hood to fit.
