To help alleviate the light truning on while cornering hard, I filled the overflow tank all the way up and let it piss out the overflow pipe (when the car got hot enought to do it) so that the overflow has as much coolant as possible in it. the coolant now sits about and inch from the top of the overflow container cold and I no longer have lights flashing on during spirited driving!

lol what? Do you even know what the reservoir tank is there for? Having it overfull does nothing. All the car does is puke out coolant when it gets really hot (still with the temp gauge in the middle ie: operating temperature) which it no longer does but it is still above the full line. Running it low is a problem however. Maybe you should know what you are talking about first. For what its worth when i had it at the full line the light still turned on during hard cornering. Maybe yours doesnt go around corners though...:icon_roll

maybe i shouldnt put an extra quart of oil in my sump either so i can have the rod knock gremlins come my way!

Umm it means your coolant in the overflow tank is low...what more were you expecting? a BHG? fill the overflow to the proper level and the light goes out. Not exactly rocket science.

This response could not be any better, by adding, subtracting, or changing any words....+1...hahaha....+...1! :icon_razz

My danger to manifold light came on.

What does this mean?

Actualy the JZA70 some models do have HOT CAT warning lights kind of like a EGT sensor at the cat.

BHG/bird has gone/low coolant level/blown head gasket are all about the correct answer if you find yourself adding more & more water blown head gasket could be the reason!

Besides all the other minor ones like cracking plastic oem end tanks on oem radiators, radiator cap, water pump, thermostat going out.

And it looks more like a pan frying bacon :)

Unless I'me confusing it with the JZA70 coolant light. I could never tell what was what.
