When I go full throttle/boost in 1st I will hit about 8 PSI, and 9-10 AFR, uphill, downhill, straight ground, cold, or warm, its really consistent.
Second gear is the same as first.
When I am in 3rd, or 4th (never been going fast enough to boost in 5th
) I will notice I will hit full boost and I will still be at 14.7 afr. I've never kept on the throttle to see what happens, because, well, full boost at 14.7 scares the shit out of me. Instantly, when I let off the throttle my XD16 reacts and shows extremely rich which is the bov operating, I would deduce.
Now, when I'm going uphill in 3rd or 4th, sometimes, I will feel a horrible loss of power once I hit boost, which would go hand in hand with the 14.x afr at 8 psi... (I think?)
my question is what could cause this? also, why has my engine not suffered any negative effects from running 8 psi at such a lean afr?
