Ok guys i've finally got the money for a wide band.

The thing is, here in San Diego we have both extremes of the weather. Sometmes it'll drop to as low as 35 degrees and sometimes get as hot as 118 degrees. as some of you might know tunning on a dyno gets pretty expensive especially in my case. So i thought about just tunning myself.

I'm thinking about getting a wideband with a data logger so i can record my air/fuel ratio on my laptop and adjust accordingly.

It's from Innovate Motor Sports. Something not too fancy and will get the job done. What do you guys and gals think? Has anybody used this product yet? is it user friendly?

zeitronix is great, i use it and have no complaints. it also has a spare channel to monitor any 0-5 volt sensor, i use it for VF so i know what the TCCS is trying to do.

Can datalog up to 9 hours in one file and the program will run on windows 95, VERY good software. Also displays TPS, EGT (if you have a probe) RPM, Boost (if you buy the sensor). its a nice kit.

Not only does it tell you your air fuel ratio but it tells you what it is in relation to boost, egt, tps and rpm.

Innovate is some good shit, most everyone I know uses it...or the Dynojet Wideband Commander...but that one's kinda pricey. I would check these guys out though (www.wbo2.com), I've got their 2A0 DIY kit (good if you're capable with a soldering iron and decent with electronics), and it's been a good unit so far. Had it in the truck for a while, and when I got the Supra, transferred it over. Great thing about these guys as well, they have a HUGE support forum on Yahoo Groups.

Innovate is good stuff as well as the Zetronix. I have used the Zeitronix to datalog before. Pretty plain and simple and if you did not have an extra bung for the wideband o2 sensor, you gould run in si,ulation mode for the ecu to think you had a regular O2. i liked that feature.
But looks like Innovate can do the same with less money...you can't go wrong with either.

Innovate is best, the best thing about them is that you can calibrate it for when things change, such as when it gets really cold or hot or as the sensor gets older. None of the others can do this. That alone is worth the extra money

I did a lot of research awhile back and decided when I get one it will be Innovate, it costs more money but in the long run it will be worth it.

Thank you to everybody. Great input. Today i headed to 935 and picked up a Zeitronix Zt-2 for $240. I hope to get it wired up and tuned sometime next week. I just ope that everything goes nice and smooth as far as installation and tuning but, how often does that happen when working with a supra:nono:. if anybody has any tips or tricks to help me out, that'll just be great.
