well goto your own body shops 3 of them to have the damage apraised it looks like your front quarter panel got hit or scratched also

get a new front end with core support & foam.
They will avg or pay the lowest apraisal value from your own three apraisers
.
Dont let them salvage your vehicle what ever you do unless you plan to never never sell it or get hit ever again.

This maybe the time to upgrade your car like if the apraiser says they will pay 2000 for a whole new front end and paint and body work total and you talk to your friend and have him slip in a regulas front end upgrade free or something your set or even if you might have to pay a couple hundred out of your own pocket.

if your paint is custom and pretty new it will cost a little more for matching paint and such also.

This should not effect your inssurance at all it is his fault he haves to pay or the insurance company haves to pay to fix it!

I say go through your own body shop to fix it unless
He offers new parts and to do it right and the way you want but get it in righting see his shop and dont go through his insurance that way the money he saves in his insurance premiums from the accident will save him more money and give him the new bumper to put on but depends on how good he is if he does crappy back yard work then goto your own company not his insurance body repair shop or his private one.

Agree with Joe, the Bomex bumper looks hideous, both in pictures and in person.

Stock bumpers are readily available from Toyota though, so if you do want to keep the stock front bumper, you can still get it.

SOB I know that hurts bud sorry to see that. I had a similar nightmare only a little worse, I drove up to see my Supras front end had been literally run over by something I tear off into the house to call the cops, while I am belligerent telling my wife what I just saw, she says Honey I did that on accident in our van pulling in to parallel park, evidently she cut in to soon and our van with 31.50's on it just ran up and over the front driver corner. She’s all better now so I know we'll see yours here after its all better.

I cant stand people who drive huge cars for no reason.

Its super common around here, where everyone has an Escalade or Tahoe and is on their cell phone. Learn to drive decently.

And on this note, I'm never getting my supra painted.
SRSLY.
I'm really scared to get my car painted now. Seems like it's a supra curse..paint your car, then you get hit!

Gracer is FTW.
Get it.

yeah got all his info. he actually does body work and he said hell fix it but im jsut not sure if i want him to do it or if i should just go through the insurance company.

oh the a-duct and 1 grille just kinda fell out it didnt look like it broke. its a good thing i had my lip off though.
Face it, It was an accident, the damage is not that bad. Check out his work, if he does as good a quality as your paint job, just let him fix it. Work with the guy if he is capable of fixing it, why jack his insurance if you don't need to? Remember, what goes around in life, comes around, plus you might make an acquaintence that you will need at a later date should you need more paint work done.

Good luck on getting it fixed, but really, it's not going to be very hard to get it back as nice as it was, there's no bent sheet metal or anything like that.
