Because ummmm...that was last year...this is this year? no matter how many people they got back, loosing Young made them a different team...they justifyably dont rate #1....I think the bigger question is why is ND even in the top 5?

ND is a joke. The media want them to win as much as they want the DNC and New York Yankees to win.

The preseason rank is based on last year plus additions and subrtractions. Texas is as good as anybody, and could be my Buckeyes next week. We will have to see.
