Why God chose the 2jz over the 7M?

what are the main difference? why is the 2jz so powerfull over the 7M? even with the same mods, why the 2jz always make like 200hp more?

2JZ is a square engine
7M is an undersquare engine

Think about that for a little bit.

Oh, and also the fact the M series engine has been around since the 60s, and JZs have been around since the very late 80s.

horsepower is the amount work done over time. Horsepower IS work. Torque is a force but in and by itself does not do anything if it does not do work.
