I just got an AVC-R and installed it but for some reason I'm just getting boost cut every time. I've read that if you use the injector duty signal on the ECU for RPM this might cause boost overshoot.
I mean, I'm talking setting the thing at 0.20 kgcm^2 (~3 psi) and regardless of duty cycle I hit fuel cut.
If anyone else is using the AVCR on a 1JZ - how is yours installed, which RPM signal are you using, and does it work right?
