Who's running ms3 on a 1j?

Anyone using a stock igniter yet?

Check out the 1JZ fan page on facebook. There was a guy on there running MS and I'm 99% sure it was with a stock igniter. I think his name was Bob Moon.

Ya. I think most people that had problems were on 1& 2. Going to be doing this soon.

Why do you want to run batch fire? (assuming that's what you meant)

Firing 2 coils at one time like wasted spark 1jz runs sequential ignition stock like the 2jz but runs batch injectors.

I was under the impression that sequential ignition and injector firing was the best way to go...

It is. But 1 and 2 only support 1 high current coil driver unless you mod it some how. Where as the ms3 supports 8 logic level coils. So you can have 8 smart coils and sequential ignition or have a ignitor driving 8 coil on plug in sequential.

IF you run your own harness you can do what ever you want but im going to make a pnp harness to plug into the factory 1jz harness. So i need everything to be able to work so i dont have to cut anything.
