3 with backseats. 2 without. ...Yea I'm normal. And don't like when there are too many people because things get broken and its too crammed to even know.

yeah dude, my biggest rule when having people ride with me... If the driver isnt comfortable (me) then it isnt gonna work. Ive never had more than 3 people in my car including me. Basically in either of my cars, 2+2s, I refuse to let anyone sit in the seat behind me just makes me feel cramped and I hate that.
Coming back from a concert Ive had 2 in the trunk 3 in the back seats and 1 in the passenger seat + Me. 7 total. Before we got back we went to an empty lot and whipped donuts with my friends in the trunk. good times.
This was in the mk2 not the mk3, but same amount of room 
I had 7 people. 4 friends in the back, 2 in the passenger seat, and me driving. Drove about 25 miles like that. The best part was I raced a ~90 Civic HB (I think it was a DX) up the Vallejo hill and beat him with my old 5MGE LOL. His look was priceless when I turned on the dome light and had that many people.
