If you've seen that All-State comercial you'll know exactlyw hat I'm talking about....


if you're parked, and open your door and a car hits it and knocks it off your car... who's fault??

Depends on your location.

Here in GA, your dad would have been charged with following too closely and would have been at fault.

As for the door thing? I don't know. It should be the idiot who opened the door, but who knows?

Adjuster probably would since he's an insurance guy.

i don't get that they are now offering accident forgiveness..

"your rates won't go up just because you have an accident"

why the f' not!?
you had an accident...if anybody deserves a rates hike..you do!

I agree.

And to answer the question, that guy opening the door definitely was at fault (not sure whether the law would say that though). I mean come on, there is obviously traffic flowing along that road, you should know to check your mirror before opening your door and there is no way anyone should open their door ALL the way into traffic, even if they don't think someone is coming right then...
