Sounds like we have some anxious people here wanted the head ported and polished. Im sending my head off to be rebuilt in about a moth... Better get to it with the boss, if the price is right ill send the head over there for the work!

damn i guess im going to have to buy a few more 1JZ heads now.. ohh well time to go shoping out in town..

how much of a porting is in volved in this one? cause the amount of material removed from the ports?

Requires a hand finish to get the most out of it. If you are going to polish the head ONLY do the EXHAUST ports and chambers. And bring those to as much of a mirror finish as you can, especially the chambers.

unfortunately my boss shot the idea down for now

we're backed up on motors right now, and until we catch up, hed rather not take the time off the CNC machines to do it, as it takes a couple days to fully digitize a head like ours

ill check again once we get caught up
