Few people seem to appreciate the intent and premise of the movie. I liked how you never saw what was after them. I also like how it ended.
Exactley, I love MANY movies, Favorites are The Wall, Blair Witch, The Patriot, In The Army Now, Marley and Me, Signs, etcetc.
I enjoy them not because it is suppose to scare me, or is supposed to make me cry, I enjoy them for how believable they make the store seem to the characters being portrayed in the movie.
Paranormal Activity for instance, the characters in the movie, were scared, angry, exhausted, defeated, and it came across well in the scenes.
Then there are those people that piss me off because they hate the fact that it is made to seem like it is filmed from a home video. When properly done, it adds an entirely different immersement into the movie. Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity, Cloverfield, all did it very very well.
