srry, he was like a brother to me. and im not catogarizing people that drive these trucks but a lot of them do that are completly ingnorant dipshits. here around whitebluff.

hicks LOL...

I love the sound of the Cummins motors...inline 6 turbo...hahahahh

and the diesel "tack tack tack"....

Dodge 2500-3500's ARE THE BEST trucks on the road, PERIOD. They never see shop time...the transmissions and motors are bullett proof! A chip gives them 900lb's of torque and over 500hp! Stock its 450ish and 610lbs of torque!....

The interiors are nice and spacious with comfortable seats too...very ergonomic...whereas the FORD and Chevy ( next choice would be chevy) are spartan and have weird design features...much less the Ford and Chevy turbo deisels suck...blow HG's right and left since they were NOT engineered to be turbo nor diesel to begin with...

thats just my side. :biglaugh:

haha. SImann, what the fuck are you talking about? both the Powerstroke and Duramax were ground-up diesel engines...

i want proof that they "blow headgaskets left and right"
i have not seen it, nor heard about it... ever.

the Ford's interior is awesome.. set high up, with a built in trailer brake control, and i had ridden in one for 4 hours without a single problem.

Chevrolet, well, their interiors suck anyway. their trucks are no different.

Ummm lets see,

I sold them for 4 months. I had a whole month of training including the cummins diesel powertrains.

Duramax and powerstroke are the same blocks as the gas burners....they were NOT groud up diesels.....much less are NOT made by the #1 diesel engine manufacturer in the world.

Dodges suck.
Cummins Turbo deisels rock. together they are the best turbo diesel truck. But only because of the cummins.
Duramax is getting better, but they had problems with the main webbing in the first few years of production.
The small powerstroke is second only to the cummins, and IS NOT A GASOLINE BLOCK.
the large stroke is just a convert, that's why it sucks, the small one is just as bad ass as the cummins, but it lacks bottom end strenth, a straight 6 has 7 mains bearings, a v8 has 5, who can hold more power?

Sorry siman, but the Powerstroke is most defiantly not a gasoline block, and they do not blow head gasket left and right. Whoever told you that was feeding you a line of Dodge propaganda B.S. The Powerstroke is a solid motor and takes to upgrade extremely well. I can't comment on the Duramax's as I've never really delt with them. I prefer to play with Chevy’s gas powered engines. But yes the Cummins is flat out AWSOME. I just can't stand dodge bodies.

ha.. yep.
they were NOT gas conversions (perhaps you're thinking of the 70's chevy 350 v8 diesels??)
the ford is an excellent diesel, and the chevy is actually an isuzu engine...

and since when do car salesmen know shit about what they're selling anyway?
whatever, man.
i will NOT argue with you, since you are SImann and will never be wrong. have fun in your own little world where everything is awesome and neato.

You would be surprised how much car salesman know...heck they make money off of YOU....they have to know SOMETHING. :naughty:

The cummins is the best diesel out there, PERIOD. You quoted saying this but keep on comming back with the duramax.....LOL

count how many chevy deisels and dodge deisels our still out on the road. I garuntee you there are twice as many dodges.

But if you follow that line of logic the powerstroke is better than the cummins(not true) because the are a quarter more Fords on the road especially in the utilitarian work force.

Simple equation for which is better:
Cummins > or == Powerstroke > Duramax

After this post I'm going to quit arguing because quite frankly I feel like I'm getting dumber because of it.

i'm with you dirgle on that last statement, as this is my last.

SImann, i had indeed said that the Cummins 600 was the best light duty diesel when paired with either Ford's Powerstroke, or Chevrolet(Isuzu)'s Duramax.

and i can safely guarantee that there are more Cummins powered Dodge Rams on the road at this moment than either Ford Powerstroke or Chevrolet Duramax.
and i can say this with confidence for one reason
would you like to know why?

Dodge was marketing the Cummins at LEAST 5 years before Ford or Chevrolet took off with their own. ford at the time of the Cummins debut was still running the older diesel (7.4?), and chevy still had the 6.5... neither were worth writing home about, and the Cummins was the best thing to be had at the time. Now Ford and Chevy are catching up... but guess what Ford has coming? they have contracted Cummins to produce their own V8 Turbo Diesel for the (07?) F-Series lineup.

now, i completely disagree with your statement about salesmen and how much they know and that they must know a lot because they make money off of me.
and i dont want to hear a bit about this because im entitled to disagree with you about this. you know not a bit about me, and evidently nor do you about how LITTLE salesmen actually do know. 99% of the time it's BS what the salesmen are feeding you. they dont sell ME cars, i have never bought a car from a dealership. when i do, i do hope that the salesman knows what's about to happen to his sale. he wont be BS'ing me through the motions, nor will he stick me in a car i really dont want. i test drove an SRT-4 and the guy asked me a bit about my car, and actually told me that "it was about time i trade that old thing in"
now, granted, i wasnt gonna buy the little neon, i just wanted to beat it a bit... well didnt i do a 5k rpm 1st gear drop and get back to the dealership and tell him i wasnt interested...

so quick recap, ok?
more cummins on the road than ford or chevy due to earlier release date... DUH???
salesmen dont know shit about what they're selling other than what's printed in the brochure...
and keep going back to chevy? what about ford, too? this conversation is about ford, chevy, and dodge. so, of course i'll be mentioning each of them in my replies to your words of wisdom.

so, now... over and out, captain.
lanky, i'm sure you can lock this one up now...
sorry, loki.

If any of you keep arguing in this thread I'll get it locked, so now it's time to turn this thread around. Everyone should start posting pics of big trucks that they think are the hotness :biglaugh:
