Who makes a good flip out monitor?

I want to redo my audio set up. I am thinking of picking up a flip out monitor like this for example:

Anyone have good experiences with any?

I had an older pioneer one in my MKIV when I bought it. Played CDs only and had a DVD player mounted underneath it since it was double DIN. It was old though so I don't know if my experience is valid but it did skip very bad with the CD in the CD player so I played all of my music from the DVD player. Was really nice to be able to have a good movie playing and with a good sound system, like you are in a movie theatre.

i bought a jensen 7" flip out a few years ago from circuit city and i have had no problems at all with it. the only thing is you can't be in 1,3,or 5 gears to flip it out. you have to be in neutral or just flip it out before you drive. i am not sure about automatic though.

Had it in the Supra for a while. Supra needs new transmission...it now resides in my gf's car. We both love it and haven't had any problems what so ever.

My advice: Get a double din, not a flip out.

The answer to your question: Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer. I have heard good things about clarion but I have no first hand experience with them.

Clarion is fine, but why not go double din?

I bought a panasonic and it works great so far. Never had it skip on me yet.

I'm going even larger than DIN. I haven't found a flip out that gives me at least 800x600 native for a PC VGA input.
