rims look nice, still not as good as the old zigens though. tires are wrong size. Why spend all that money to have tiny but more contact patch than STOCK rubber?

I don't get tire stretching...

I read that but I still see wheels that stick past the body with stretched tires.

maybe I'm missing something...I would think it would be logical to order rims that actually fit the car and buy tires accordingly. Instead of buying rims that are wrong size, putting tires on that are too small....talk about modifying it so that you can fit a slightly less stretched tire on the wrong sized rims, then get mad when somebody tells you they look silly.

Just so you know, I'm not trying to be a dick, I think the rims would look amazing if they were a little narrower. I'd put your car in the top 5 best looking cars on this site, just not with those tires.

I already know 90% of you hate the look of the stretch tire. If I cared what most of the people on here though my car wouldn't be different at all. I only put that tire on there as a base line so I know how much I can fit. That tire isn't even mine haha. So I am going to be buying a larger tire in a week or so any ways.

haha I don't love or hate the stretch. I just want a different look for the car. More on the side of the drifter look right now I guess. Even though I don't really drift right now.

^^^ I'm with you on that. I don't think it looks horrible but I hate the impracticality of it. I would hate to see what normally minor curb rash would do to your nice new rims.

I haven't looked into it much but is there a reason why a drifter would want a stretched tire like that? Stability but easier to break loose with less HP?

I come from a land down under
Really like those rims style wise not too fussy :)

Is there room to machince the mounting flanges to tuck em back under a bit so you can run real tires without hacking the body?
(a lot of times rims are made from a single blank and the offsets are done on the mounting surface)

If I actually wanted to get some that would fit more meat I would have got a higher offset set. But I want those aggressive stace that not many Supra people go for. I might go and just buy a higher offset pair for other uses later when I actually put down more power.
