I am looking for a custom set of either steel or aluminum 89+ mounts.
I would like the mounts to me 1/2" shorter than stock.

My turbo header combo sits higher than normal and i am having hood clearance issuses. Dropping the engine 1/2" should take care of my problem.
I cant see why having the engine dropped 1/2" whould create any problems.

So if any one can make me a set shorter than stock, hit me up.

welding stock mounts is real easy but it wont make them 1/2 inch shorter. Problem with making them 1/2 inch shorter is it will change the alignment of the bolts. it would most likely require mockup to insure accuracy, either that or very accurate math.

Edit: pics of my stockers welded.

Yes I make them, and there is a group buy going on right now !!!

Now about the shorter ones, I also wonder about oilpan clearence. I know the 1jz motorr only have about 1/4" before the pan will touch the crossmemer. You could always buy the regular length ones and cut them down the exact amount that you need, you just need a hack saw.

it would change the bolt patern on the mount wouldnt it? it would be like milling the surface of the intake ports on a cylinder head for a V8, the ports would be lower and moved further apart.

maybe the amount needed to lower the motor is not enough to effect it that much?
