Thinking about getting this setup. Probably going to go with an Eclipse head unit. 50x4W of course. What do you guys think?

I think you bought products that are only in business because of marketing. For example, that BOSS amp is 99% rated at 1000w MAX. Which means on a good day, its doing 500wrms. And even if it was making that much power, its THD is going to be pretty high, and it'll clip easily.

10 Years ago Audiobahn used to make good speakers, now they're all junk. And in bandpass box? That setup is going to be dirty, messy, and won't get all that low. Just like in everything else, you really do get what you pay for. Lower end stuff like what you've got sounds like ass and is common for people who don't know much if anything about audio to buy.

People think you can just jump into mobile audio and have a good sounding system. Yea, you can spend little money and get loud, but it'll be like having sex with a lady wearing a mumu. You're still having sex, and she'll scream, but DAMN you could do a lot better. Just like everything else, if you do some research, and spend a little more money you can get a volleyball player to fuck. Yeeaaaaa bbbboooiiiiiii

This is just a basic setup for now. Trust me, I will upgrade in the future. But right now I'm just needing a good clean setup. Especially since I'm about to make a 1200 mile drive North to Portland (I know you know where that is speed dodici). I won't be making a 16 hour drive without tunes. I'll go nuts.

There is a small build thread a while ago well OK last year.
http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30535&highlight=begins

I am happy with the sound its extremely clean and crisp the bass hammers The only thing I would add and am going to as soon as I can find the SPOT is an 8" or 10" sub to pick up the mid base. Also going to Finish building up the back deck to cover the equipment.
