186,500 miles doesn't sound that impressive.
How many miles do you have on the original motor (and turbo if applicable). This means no rebuild, no new HG, nothing.
I picked up my 89T in April/May of 96 with just 50,500 miles. This past April/May I had 186,500ish miles marking an average of 13,600 miles each year - including 9 trips from Portland to Las Vegas for SILV @ 3000 miles each year.
The only thing I've done to the motor is a retorque at 70K miles.
I've even been running the same reman'd clutch since 50,510 miles.
