That Z is pure sex, so well done. I have that issue kicking around my house somewhere, the article was a good read.

If you spent your money wisely on parts, then driving your supra is ALL the therapy you'll need....

I don't lie about it. I spend a lot of money on my car, but it's all worth it to me the second a mustang or corvette pulls up beside me and starts revving the motor up.............:evil2:

I've spend about 15k usd by the last 2 years, dunno if it's much or not, but I still need to triple that sum to get me where I want ;)
Yet again, sometimes I stop and thing to myself, why the hell I'm spending all this money on nearly 20yrs old car, when I could buy myself a Maserati 3200GT and be done with it...

(congrats on losing the ball and chain)

Cars not back from the shop yet..HOPEFULLY next week! Last time I saw it it was under a dull grey coat of primer, cooking in the sun. I pretty much lost half of my summer driving time. I hope the wait is worth it!

Then you will see pics of the car topless, not ME! I know what I typed!!

I've been pretty judicious with my Supra cash. I have larger priorities (house, decent daily driver, a life) and the Supra is maybe #7 on the list of things I will spend lots of money on.

I was smart and bought a well-maintained 92 turbo. The biggest money I've put into it was a paint job, but the 5-speed swap and wheels/tires this year is the most I've spend in a year.

If you have to live paycheck to paycheck while upgrading your car you are doing it wrong. Save up and wait until you can truly afford it. That way, you don't ever have to sell it because of a bad luck streak in your life.

$8500 for the car; free and clear

$3800 on 'pretty' parts and whatnot on the credit card since I bought the car, expect to have that paid in next two months...... hmmm.

While the Supra is #1 or #2 on my list, unfortunately its not that high up on the wife's list. Still though, she agreed to the car alone 10months ago, and not another PENNY for at least 2yrs after buying the car, somehow I worked my way around that w/out getting too much of my arse handed to me :evil2: - - its a delicate science :sarcasm:.
