To me the stout hood is the most functional hood out there, the vent above the headlight is for the intake obvisouly. The big one is for the radiator, and i dont run a fan most of the time, so i like the radiator to be cool (im not turbo so i have no FMIC), and the other two vents would also help draw out hot air above the intake and exhaust manifold... so in my mind, why wouldnt you want a functional, and lightweight hood?

and i love the lines of the supra, thats why im selling my eclipse and keeping the supra, its just a nicer car overall, but i dont mind having the "aggressive" styling.. and then if i decide to i can buy a turbo supra, and transfer over all of my stuff (hood, suspension, steering wheel, bushings, all of that. To me its a win win.

and as far as i know, CFX has been closed down... i remember a few years back he made damn near everything in CF and it was beautiful...

I like the one on Duanne's white Supra (CFX right?).

But I think all those funky (vented, cowled, scooped etc.) hoods ruin the best part of the Supra's looks. The long hood line and all that sloping metal are what makes the Supra such a great looker.

I like carbon fiber hoods but I wouldn't give my my supra the "muscle car" look. It just looks tacked on.
Yeah right! 2" Cowl FTW:

Yes, I made a couple raised cowl hoods from the stock steel ones. I had a really big cowl on my car, Tim (Speed) has one with a 2" cowl and and a radiator vent, and KevinM got one as well, but apparently that one got warped and I never heard if he managed to fix it or not.

Im no longer making anything Supra right now, sorry guys. Besides, most of you guys didnt like the steel hoods because you got now weight savings with em.

Yep, thats why I have his hood. I almost wish he would have kept his car, but I wanted his hood so bad :). I was also trying to get the one from Slow66 at the same time.... and Genna before that.

I had the hardest time getting the hood home... a lot of bungie cords, blankets.... and pulling over.
