ever since i bout my supra i've been using what i assumed was a quick-tilt lever on the left side of the steering coulmn to tilt the wheel and ease entry/exit...

that is what its for, right?

does pretty much everybody use it?

I have mine locked close to the lowest position and pretty much leave it there, just slide one knee in at a time.

The first time I figured out the steering wheel telescoped.... I almost killed myself and at least 4 others on the interstate.

i'm not sure if i should laugh.

at first it seemed humorous but...not.

did you crash?

ok so far there's only one other person besides me that uses it...

lol.

i thought that its really hard to get in and out without moving it... and i doint really like the wheel too high... its annoying to pop it up every time but its eaiser than not doing it i guess.

I did. I can imagine a car full of people, and the driver just start shaking the steering wheel like its gonna fall out, and everyone yelling and screaming. lol

ok if we're going to start that i'm going to require that everyone measure the circumference of their leg....and then laugh when mine is one of the thinner ones.....:biglaugh: j/k but yeah...i can get out allright but its more of a strain...and its slower getting in and out.

on a couple occasions i left it down or pushed it down getting out...and when i went to get back in i slid in really fast thinking the steering wheel was unlocked and would give...but it didnt. it hurt.

it helps me more because in my garage i cant open my door a lot...so i have to put my leg far out and well...it helps.

I'm short, so I don't really have to move the steering wheel to get out. It's kinda funny though to watch someone else get into the car at the height I leave it at, with the seat pushed forward almost all the way............:biglaugh:

My friend would sit so her chest was practically touching the steering wheel, and she was 8inches shorter than me, trying to get into her car one time I almost got stuck because I didn't slide the seat back before jumping in.
