I had it and it blows. HamsMKIII blew his motor on it.

I now went to the EMB because It sproven to work.

What about the original Emanage though. I see a lot of guys running it on the 7M, but I haven't been able much about it with 1J's.

I read it, but I didn't catch the EMB = Emanage Blue. Are you happy with it? Any regrets?

I am still installing it. I am sure it will work alot better though as many others are using it fine

Thanks. I like the idea of having timing control & direct injector control, plus it's not that much more than a SAFCII. Well, I should say that it's well within my price range and it leaves room to grow.

Another quick question. Were all of the 1J's that were mated to R154's put into Supras? I inquired about a motor set, but the guy didn't know what it was in. If it didn't come out of a supra, what kind of added problems would I face trying to put it in my car?

power fc works great if you want that control...its PnP and you can order the boost control kit for it, which will replace the stock map sensor with an apexi 3 bar map..also includes the apexi boost controller.

No, there was Soarer, Chaser and Mark 2 if I remember right. There are differences in motor mounts, oil pan and pickup, throttle body, wire harness, etc....
The 1jz's that sell for cheap will be the ones that will cost you more in the end buying all the stuff you need to drop it into a mk3 Supra. We get a call at least once a week from someone who got sold a 1jz without knowing how many parts it would really need before it was in the car. The less info the sellers give the more likely people are to buy, so they like to play dumb.

Only way to be sure is to get a 5-speed engine set, or somehow know it came from a JZA70... otherwise you'll need the bellhousing ~$350 and a R154 tranny (shifter, etc), motor mount brackets, etc, etc, etc.

If a seller doesn't tell you alot, they're setting you up... all they want is the sale. Up to you to make it work.
