I'm seriously considering buying this kit off this fella, I've been in contact with him through email and he says that he's sold some of this AFPRs to some forum members before and I just wanted your feedbacks ;). His kit doesn't come with a J-tube block off plate, but he states in his email that he has detailed instructions that come with the kit on how to retain the stock piece (If I buy it I will also buy a J-tube block off plate anyways for a nice, clean look. Compared to the suprasport kit: http://www.suprasport.com/AFPR-Complete-Install-Solution_p_61-79.html it comes with everything picture (plus beefier lines I think) minus the block off plate. It also includes this iirc: http://www.suprasport.com/LIPP-FPD-Eliminator_p_61-83.html ....

What do you guys think?

The first one you posted from ebay is the exact kit I bought. I have never had any problems with it. I think it is a well put together kit, and includes feed lines/fittings to eliminate the pulsation dampner(that I don't think the other kit has) as well as return, and detailed instructions. As for the j-tube plate, you just unbolt it, cut off the j-tube part, and bolt it back up. probably the only down side is that you have to put the earls fittings on the lines yourself and that can make your finger tips feel like hamberger.

the guy has 493 positive feedbacks with not one neg. so I think his feedback shows he is a respectable and good seller.

Yeah, I seem to recall him posting on here, and saying he basically does it for like $10-$15 is all he ends up making. Just helping the community, as I believe he has a Supra himself - gonna go search on it :)

I bought my kit from that same seller Jeff Corbat, and had ZERO issues.

As far as j-tube block off plate goes you guys are a bunch of fools. ALL YOU DO IS GRIND THE TUBE OFF YOUR STOCK PLATE AND WAAALAHHH you now have a block off tube. LOL. Takes a total of 2 minutes. Another option is to buy a Chevy block off plate from summitracing for 2 bucks.

AS A WARNING!!!! I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS KIT FOR ONE REASON! IT USES EARLS REGUALR BRAIDED -AN LINE WHICH WILL SEEP FUEL VAPORS!!! EARLS LINE IS KNOWN TO DO THIS AND EARLS EVEN WARNS OF IT IN A DISCLAIMER!!! SO UNLESS YOU WANT YOU ENGINE BAY AND GARAGE SMELLING LIKE FUEL, I WOULDNT ADVISE IT.

Maybe the fuel smell will be a welcome change from the coolant smell.hehe

Anyway, There are plenty of reputable sellers on ebay. You just need to do as some have done, and investigate the feedback. 100% is not required, but I don't like to do business with anybody with less than 99% if they have done over 100 transactions. Also, don't just look at the numbers! Read the negatives, and also look at what type of person gave it. I get so tired of seeing "Shipping was way too high" negatives, when the shipping was clearly stated in the auction. I look at this person leaving the feedback as a pure idiot. If it is too high for you, don't bid!!!

I may be doing some more selling on there if my latest part out doesn't pick up.

As far as contributing to the comunity goes... I've bought from driftmotion, JDub, and several group buys, all totalling well over 1K so I think do contribute to the community pretty well. ;)

I think I'll give this guy a try and post pics up once I recieve it... Any other feedback?

Chris, why wouldn't you buy it from Aaron if it's cheaper? I haven't read all of the posts yet. The answer may be in there. I'll go back and read the entire thread.

NJ Supra. You gave your opinion as asked, but you won't get very far on here calling people stupid....................:3d_frown:

Edit: looks like the Driftmotion kit doesn't have a gauge with it.

NJ hit the nail on the head. Jeff is a great guy, and i'd never hesitate to do business with him. i bought several things off of him.

he's also correct about the Earl's fittings.

Do the lines actually leak fuel, or just fuel vapors? Watch you attitude around here man, no one apreciates a smart ass...

they leak vapors. i have the same kit, and i have ZERO fuel leaks. vapors only.

If anyone would like a scan of the Jeff Corbat Diagram in order to make their own kit, here they are. You might have to save the picture then open it and use the "Magnafying glass" in your window.

Cheers!
