White Smoke - BHG assumption

I'm starting with the assumption that I blew my head gasket.

I was driving the other night and tried to pull in front of some incoming traffic, the car bogged for a second then made a loud noise similar to that of an atmospheric BOV. Since then, the car has developed this white smoke out of the exhaust.

It also has a weird noise coming out of what seems to be the turbo itself.

I haven't had time to take anything apart to verify/validate my assumption nor to look for error codes, but all my gauges register normal levels. I know I shouldn't rely on factory gauges, but I think they provide a general idea of what could be wrong.

The car is fully stock, not even an aftermarket intake. Suffice to say, the car is now parked to prevent further damages.

Am I correct to assume a BHG? What about the loud BOV like noise? Any ideas?

Any water coming out anywere? Any coolant in the oil, or oil in the coolant?

Is this a turbo car? If so, you will get better results in the 7M-GTE Tech section...

So, I was finally able to spend some time on the car.
I removed the accordion hose to the turbo, the shaft is so loose, I don't know how it didn't break into pieces.

I am now in the market for a turbo replacement.

To quickly confirm you do have a BHG, make sure the car is cold. Pop the radiator cap start the motor and if the coolant comes out, of the cap its a pretty safe bet that you DO have a BHG. If it doesn't over flow, that doesn't mean you DONT have a BHG but at least you know its not a combustion chamber to coolant leak BHG. Remember there are a few kinds of BHG failures:
1. combustion chamber to coolant, (the most common imho)
2. coolant to oil, (seems to be pretty common)
3. and its almost impossible to get a combustion chamber to oil journal leak.
