Well, since i started this thread....might as well post too. I am in the process of going 1j.....does the wideband still apply to them as it does to the 7m ?

yessir, a WB applies to ANY engine.....granted ratios change w/varied fuel (ethanol, methanol, diesel, propane, etc....)

i am runing the inovate lc1 very nice as plenty of options to work with like calibrateing change in sea level for proper airfeul ratio reading etc.

I'm using an NGK Powerdex AFX it's very basic not that expensive and has a calibration dial to extend the useful life of the sensor.

It reads 16>9 and has an output so you can log it with a standalone if needed.

Do you need a second bung or will the ecu run off the wideband 02?

depends on the WB. some have dual outputs (the LC-1 does), so you simply program one for WB and one for the NB output that the ECU is expecting.

no, the ECU will not run on the std. WB output (0-5V).

...innovate all the way here. I had an LM1 before, and an LC1 now.

When choosing companies, go with the one that's got a patent on the calibration and compensation of sensor "drift". So that leaves you with innovate's stuff... and that's it.
