ok im in the market for a wideband and i've pretty much narrowed it down to Innovate's LC-1, seems simple and has datalogging...which is pretty much all i want OR the AEM 6in1...which is also simple and easy to use. They're both AROUND the same price the LC-1 might be a bit cheaper if i get the controller and buy a diff. gauge.

Informative input would be greatly appreciated!

thanks,

I don't know too much about them but I would go with the AEM because it would fit in my pillar pod and I could view the light show. Right now I have just a AFR gauge and it does nothing except blink lights back and forth. I hear the Innovative is quite simple and small because it's integrated into the cable somehow which is cool in itself but it does nothing for me otherwise. Just my .02 cents.

i have the AEM one, i picked it because it was a better price, plain and simple.

the gauge shows the lower limit to be 11 and the digital read out only drops down to 10, I think I saw the LC-1 with a readout of 9.X somewhere... So I'm guessing it's range is bigger (upper/lower)? Not sure exactly, but that might be something worth looking into.

ZT-2 FTW! They just updated it with more cool sh-t. Now you can set it for a lean cruise where it will output a slightly richer signal on the narrowband output to trick the ecu and let you cruise at 14.7/1 up to 16/1 (adjustable, save gas on long drives!) They updated the software and the graphs look better. Now there are alarms you can also enable at preset afr points or other variables. It's really a great unit. The software is very easy to use, and very stable.

I would look at the NGK afX or the FJO. Out of the two you menetioned the LM-1 has "issues" when the heat gets high, the algorithm used to compute lambda loses its accuracy.

that is sweet about the ZT-2 about running leaner.... is there anyway to get a 52mm gauge for that?

Yes, it has a simulated narrowband output you could run to the 52mm gauge and it would be a lot more accurate then a standard narrowband setup.

I would if i had the $$ but my funds are limited, reason why its between the LC-1 or the AEM both are between 250-300 bucks. shipped.

thanks figgie...

Whichever one you get is far better then not having one. They are all accurate.
I think a wideband should be one of the first things purchased for any modified turbocharged car!
