Which rod is which??

In case you have not held an Eagle H beam 7m rod and a pauter 7mgte rod at the same time, here are some pics to show some diffrences.

Eagle on left, pauter on right in every pic
The pauter has a bunch more meat around the small end and the side structure runs up onto the small end. The eagle does not

the big end on the pauter is more massive. On the thin middle portion of the rods--the eagle is actually longer then the pauter becausr the eagle runs the center portion closer to the big end.

And the pauters come in nice little boxes

Pauter=626 grams

1 Caveat with the Pauters is you need to notch the bottom of the bores in a 7M as they will hit, also if revving the motor hard the Aux shaft will need 1.5mm removed in 2 places.

pauter rods are like 1100+ i dont remember, but there expensive as hell!
Id get pauter rods if i was shooting for crazy HP #'s but im not so ill be happy with eagles.

Eagles are 450 to 490
Pauters are 1100 to 1250

If you think pauters are expensive, try buying some carrillo's or cunninghams.

The rods in my harley are 600.00 each
