Which pan to use need some help!! Pics

OK guys, when cleaning up my pan to paint silver I noticed that it had a dent in it. I looked on the inside and looks to be fine. Then I looked at some old pics and it's been that way for about 4 years.

I have another pan that is in good shape on the outside but the inside doesn't look the greatest. This pan has sat for about 3 years. It's straight, but would like your guys opinions!

I'm putting my motor back together on Thursday and hopefully dropping it in. So I need to figure out which one to use asap!

Also what is the easiest way to strip the paint?

It dosent looks like it will affect the oiling system in any way. Put some FIPG on her and slap it on.
