i think black is a nice VIP mean look, bronze looks more sporty but...serious sporty..

i dont think i've seen those rims in black with polished lips though...

spoolint78 - nice! now i'm not sure what i like more. i was thinking bronze but the black is nicer than i thought because the centers are polished as well...

hmmm... we should see them on a black car.

Actually, with a black car it can go either way. Black with polished lip is more common and people tend not to even look twice at a car with them....but, I think you should try and accurately photoshop them on (to scale, or as close as possible). I say this because the factor of how low the car is gonna be on the wheels and the actual design would help too.

With a black car, I would def go with the black with polished lip, get your windows tinted and a mean sounding exhaust and you have IMO a ultimate sleeper. I have the black with polished lip as well, 17x10 +35 in the back and 17x8 +35 in the front and I love them. Only thing that I would change is I would rather have the 17x9 in the front. Mine are on a blue car and my windows will be tinted next weekend.

Ultimate sleeper would be a stock appearance, or possibly even a lowered one. This is the look I was talking about being played out btw. Just add some tinted tails and the blinker covers. Sorry, but few people make that look pass, which is why I suggested bronze to begin with.

The black on black will look bland, as opposed to another color car, orrrr, bronze rim :)

P.S. Sorry man, but I had to mention that especially with the "mean sounding exhaust" that negates the sleep effect.

The black wheels would look great because they have a polished lip, so they won't just blend into the car and look bland. If they were all black I wouldn't have gotten them myself because I agree with you, they would look bland.

If I had a black MK3 with black wheels and tint, lowered with a great exhaust I would show up at the local meets and park by my self where everyone could see me, and let everyone just wonder WTF I have. Most people don't even know what a MK3 Supra looks like or even is or has the capabilities to do. but you couldn't pull that off with a MK4 as much because everyone as seen TFTF. I love pulling into one of the local muscle car meets with my car and doing it now and it is funny and gratifying all at the same time letting people look at me not knowing what my car is.

I just found a black 91T shell that I will be building up and can't wait to have it done. It won't have a body kit other than a front lip, just clean and stock looking and all black.

I guess everyone has their opinions and that's cool.
