I'm going to buy some coilovers with my insurance money and don't know which ones to get. I've have the Tein SS on 00' accord and love them.

This is going to a daily driver btw. I'm trying to conserve money if possible so I can buy other goodies including a paint job for the supra. But, I want something that has a smooth ride but a reliable product. Thanks for looking.

I personally haven't heard any negative feedback from the Megan coilovers and for the price they are hard to beat. Whether that is because they are merely acceptable for the price or they are genuinely good is unknown to me. I would link you to some threads on Supraforums but they don't have search and I don't have that kinda time. lol

First off, this is a DD, not an autocross car. Second, I would have listed the sleeves if I wanted them to be an option. I'm not going for that cheap alternative where I have to machine my shock and spring and what not. If I'm going to get coilovers, I'm going to do it right and get a "true" coilover setup.

That's cool.

I personally don't think that bilstien's sleeves are a 'cheap' alternative (ever seen IJ's Koni set-up?). If I ever get tired of my Koni's, that is the direction I will be going. The benefit to the bilstiens is they are easy (and cheap) to have properly valved for your application.

I also think this way after coming from a JIC c/o set-up on a DD (not race car). Not enough rebound dampning - or at the expense of too much compression dampming. There was no 'happy medium'.

Good luck with your search.

I just want something that I can bolt on. I don't have the time to mess with the strut and spring to use the sleeves. Normally, I would probably go that route. But, since I'm getting money from my accident, I figured I'd get something good.

Thanks for the help though :icon_bigg .

EDIT: Do they make the Street series for our cars or just the Track Series? I want to be able to adjust camber and have the pillowball mounts.

You know my vote :)

Megans then save the cash for other things
3 years of limited warranty is also a nice touch

I'd only vote TEIN SS if you wanted to use EDFC at some point.

BTW Camber is adjustable stock, the coilovers don't have camber adjustments like other cars.
