Hi, I'd like to know where i can buy wheel bearings for my 88-T. They've been shot for a while and i think they're getting worse. Does anyone have a site where they sell good ones? What about e-bay? can anyone send me a good link?

Awesome dude, Now question is: is that price for one or two? Also, Do these bearings have to be "slap packed" with grease like the tapered motorcycle head bearings or are they sealed?

Only one bearing per wheel. Hope you have access to a press; a hammer ain't gonna cut it(will really f**k it up, though). Get new seals, to.

Will a vise suffice?

Nope(Well, maybe, but it would have to open over 12"). You have to press the wheel hub out of the bearing, and press the bearing out of the steering knuckle. Then you have to press it all back together in the opposite order. Don't forget to put the seal in before you press the hub in......
Most mechanic shops have a press, and will change the bearing and seal for you if you bring them the assembly. Shouldn't charge much, $40 or so each.

my bearings failed at over 200K miles. I put autozone brand in them running good. 40 for each roughly + 5 or 8 for seals. I saw the mechanics that did it with a hammer. they fucked up both my ABS sensors and had to pay for used ones. not cheap!

Don't forget to buy replacements for the huge nuts holding the front stub shafts into the bearings. They get staked into place and are not really reusable. You will need a air wrench to get them off. Follow the installation procedure carefully - the order is very important.

in the link on the previous page why is there a few different types? are there fitment differences? or is one a cheapo version and the other a better quality product?

The bearing offerings are just preference for some people. All that are offered are high quality units and carry the same warranty.
