To start off I have been looking all day at sites to find a Aftermarket 1JZ intake manifold that will work for my car. All the ones on Ebay are made in Thailand, and some don't even look like they fit... Scary thought when spending a larger amount of money.

Right now I am looking to spend 800.00-900.00 on a manifold for the motor. I figured if I am going with a single, I might as well add this because I don't want to pull the motor just to swap intake manifolds.

Note: I already had to do that to remove the twins...

So If there are any intake manifolds that any of you have used that work perfect on your MA70 please let me know. I am trying to get this car on the move. Right now I am just going to do wiring until I start getting all my parts I need together.

Thanks guys and have a great night.

For a good FFIM, expect to pay more. If you haven't found a shop that will make one for you, try Ron R., or Sound Performance. I don't know of anymore off hand.

Are you just wanting it to look better under the hood? If so just have your stock intake manifold polished.

Unless you're shooting for power you get from three walbros, it's not worth it. You might gain 50-75whp from the manifold upgrade in the end. Not really worth the $1500+...

I could be mistaken because not a lot of 1JZ people with upgraded manifolds post their numbers. I think most are on stock units.

Edit yo.

unless youre planning on 800+hp its not really needed.

friend of mine modified the thailand one to fit his car, his car made a lil over 500whp on pump, really didnt make much of a difference over the stock manifold

If I was going to replace my stock one, I wouldn't buy anything other than a Ron Ramirez one, unless more than two or three people had bought another one and had great success with it. I know Ron takes pride in his and everyone that owns one swears by it.

I personally don't think you need an upgraded one, but whatever floats your boat.
