Where to buy 100 amp alt fuse???

Pretty much any parts store should carry them. Its a pretty common fuse. If they can't find it by year/make/model, just match up your old one.

A remanufactured fuse with a core charge..... Now that's funny....

Ahh. The legs on that fuse are bolted in. You have to take the fuse box apart a little to change it. It's not hard. If I remember right, that block will pop up so that you can change that fuse. Make sure you disconnect the batt. first...

ya i tried to pull it off the top :3d_frown: ::dead horse:: thats how i felt afterward

i assume you're talking about the fusible link. no, there's no core, i seriously hope that you guys are kidding. grab a new one from the dealership. i got mine for less than $4.

I also seen some N/A'S with just a black wire connecting the two spots. It was like that in my 87 N/A and also my 87 turbo was like that but it had a N/A 70amp alternator. I will be replacing that though.
