Where should I drill holes for my hood pins?

why take the stock hood latch out. You will invite unwanted easy entries. I have my hood latch installed ad pins in my fiber glass hoos. I mounted mine on the outter corners near the head light twards the frnder, and also installed 2 on the inner frame where the hood first meet the head lights as well

get another hood latch. i got my pins towards the front of the hood. when you open the hood there are two rubber stoppers by where the intercooler sit. i took out the stoppers, put the pins there, drilled the holes in the hood so they'd work with the pins and there ya go. i think it looks nicer than by the fenders imo.

Well you wouldn't drill them in the Targa now would you ;)
(but then again here it wouldn't surprise me)

Well my targa bolts were all messed up and I had the hood pins laying around. They seem to be working well. Only bad part is that water leaks through the holes.

Yeah it isn't too bad when I am outside the car. I think I am going to invert them next time so I can pull the clips off from the inside.
