Where can I get a 1JZ front clip?

I've been reading alot on these forums lately to figure out what I'm going to do with my Supras. The 1JZ seems like a good setup since I want to turn my Supra into a DD and sell my other car to have some extra cash.
I currently have a blown 7M-GTE in my car I'm rebuilding and don't want to have to rebuild it. Fortunately I have another running 7M-GTE in another Supra, but it has around 140,000 miles on it, and I don't know how the previous owner treated it.
Anyway, I've read alot on the 1JZ and am thinking maybe it would be better to sell the engines and part out the other Supra (has alot of rust in rear and on chassis) and then buy a 1JZ clip to put in.
I've looked on places like Jarco and Venus auto and some other places that don't look to reliable, and the prices are all around $2500-$3000 for a front clip. I read in other threads though that members got a complete clip for $1500 or around that. Am I just a few years late in wanting to do the swap and the prices have just risen, or am I looking in the wrong places?

BTW, sorry for typing so much, it probably could have been shorter, I just wanted to get the whole story out so that I can get everyone's opinions.

That seems like a pretty good price, but just out of curiosity, does it really matter if I was to buy a front clip compared to a motor set for the swap? Are there any parts I'd really need from the clip that I wouldn't be able to get with the set?

Some times the motor sets don't come with everything needed. Getting a front clip just makes sure most if not everything is there to do the swap.

So I guess they're out of the picture for now... anybody used jarco before? I guess some of their clips come with extra things like bigger aftermarket intercoolers and air intakes and I forgot what else. Its just the price is $2995 without shipping, which is kind of alot for me.

who's JHOT?
there are two local places to me but they both seem pricey. it was cheaper from me to buy a motor in japan and ship it here than some of these places

From what i've heard, the reason Jarco's prices are high is because they are absolutely anal about the clips they get in.

so if u find a legit source for a motorset and/or front clip... are the motors going to be in need of a rebuild just like every other jdm 7m-gte?

Any old engine that you buy to put in a car, be it JDM or USDM, should be inspected closely and replace/repair any worn parts on it, that should be a given. You can have a bad apple with a 1JZ just like you can with a JDM 7M. Just because the engine may have a reputation of being "tougher" doesn't mean the previous owner(s) haven't driven it into the ground.
