hey guys. lookin for wheels for my 88 supra. lookin for 18x9 up front and 18x10 in rear. I went on wheeldude.com where they sell wheels for imports but they dont have them for the mk3. Then i just decided to check wheelsnext and not to my surprise, they didnt have wheels wide enough. I went to xxr and found a wheel that i like alot but xxr's quality sucks. I dont have the budget to spend over 300 a wheel. Anyone know where i can find any?

Wheeldude has the sizes that you are looking for.

If you were looking at wheeldude, who sells replica wheels such as Linea Corse and Rota...what's wrong with Xxr?

If you want jdm quality, then take a look at the Enkei lineup and Work Emotion lineup, but you will spend a little more thann $300 per wheel (new).

You could also look into used wheels at sites like vrwheels.com, and memoryfab.com. Other good source of used wheels are forums such as g35driver, my350, zilvia.net, nasioc.com, etc..

ive never had a problem with Rota wheels. had 3 sets on my STi. I also noticed that these cars have the same offset and hub bore as the sti. Also. if i did a 10" wide rear in wheel, what offset would make it sit flush with fender? +20? also, what tire will fit in the rear wheel well with the 18x10? i was thinking of doing a 295/40/18 nitto 555R. i ran those on my gt500 and fell in love with them.

We have an extensive discussion on wheel fitment

Before you buy wheels online you'd better google the company you buy from. Google wheelsnext for a good read.

I got my wheels from discount tire direct. They have a size/offset/lug pattern search so you can order the size you want.

I would not say that XXR's quality sucks at all
I was skeptical when I bought a set but after slamming into a curb at 85 mph and shaving about half an inch off both of my drivers side wheels with no cracks or bends I would say they can take every day driving no problem

I run 18X10 +25 in the back with a 275/35/18 and its perfect flush but I am lowered when I wasn't lowered it stuck out about a quarter inch

The 275/35/18 tires are slightly stretched on the 18X10 wheel
A 285 I think would pretty much have no stretch
A 295 I think would bulge a bit on a 18X10

I had a set of 555r's on my car when I bought it. The NT05 I currently have has an even higher level of grip from what I can tell, plus no squishy sidewalls. Little more of a rough ride, but that is to be expected. Now, the NT05r... I'd look into those, especially if you're doing much racing. Or the NT01 if you're doing a lot of twisty driving. ;)
