Toyota quoted me $180 + tax for the O2 sensor and I think thats a ripoff.
Is there some place that I can buy it cheaper?
Kragen and the local auto parts stores sell the single wire ones.
Also I also have to buy BVSV that sits on the thermostat housing and hoses running from it to the charcoal cannister. I was trying to explain it to the Toyota parts guy but he knew jack shit. Why does Toyota hire people who know nothing about toyota parts and only know how to use a computer.
I am sure they have diagrams of sensor locations on their database which they can pull out and view it. I told the fuck and he said his computer only pulls up stuff with part numbers which is true but I know you should be able to view the diagrams and looks for parts if you had a good knowledge on cars and their components. I have seen it before many times.
