Awesome!

Well I'm going to the junkyard today to nab myself an 87+ stereo harness so I can just plug and play with my Alpine.

I'll post up results here.

AndThanks for the help Justin.

You're welcome.

From what I can tell from your pictures all the colors should line up except the constant power wire. Chances are on an 87+ harness it will be blue/yellow

The constant power wire is the single pin one in my harness now correct?

I think so, yeah.

Do you have a multimeter/testlight/anything that can test voltage?

Can you take pictures of the plugs that you got out of the junkyard cars? a plug is a plug, the wire colors for the speakers will be the same. most of the power will be the same too, the only difference i saw was the constant power wire.

I'm still a little unsure about your rear speakers though.

There is nothing in those harnesses that indicate rear speakers...

The green/blue and pink/purple are your front speakers. are there any wires connected to thoseo somewhere down the line?

take a 9v battery to the wires and use it to make the speakers make a popping noise to tell you which is which.. hacked harnesses suck test light and DMM is your friend.

I know the 9v idea is ghetto but it works just as long as the wires don't run to a power source.

I would have to check. I'm not too concerned with all the speakers right now I just want the damn thing in the car. I plan on running my OG RF Punch45 in there since its same vintage, just when I get some time haha.

at least you have something harness wise to play with and not nothing at all. thats always fun to make the whole harness yourself.

same colors, ever look at a wiring diagram and see how the colors change as they reach junctions? always pisses me off. but if you hacked a harness from the same setup you should be cool.
