Where are there holes in the firewall to run wires into interior?

I want to run a power wire for my amps through the firewall on the driver's side, but I can't seem to find any openings. I could have sworn I've heard that there are grommets all over the place. Anyone know where they are located?

Pics would be great.

Thanks.

Remove either plastic fender liner and it will be staring you in the face.

Ha! Figures it'd be that easy. I was looking all over the firewall behind the dash LOL.

Thanks!

Depends on how much/big the wires you're running too. The guy who had my car before me worked in an audio shop and drilled a new hole. Nicely grommetted and everything but it was kind of necessary for the size of the wire going through.

Well I'm going 1/0 gauge. Don't really get much bigger than that. I don't mind drillling a larger hole if needed since I need to run the nuetral safetly switch wires to the lower clutch sensor anyways. I'm almost considering just running the power wire (wrapped in conduit of course) next to the clutch line, under the car and out through the trunk. I wouldn't have to worry about RCA interference this way, however, I just have never been a fan of running wires underneath vehicles.

If you need aditional holes you could enlarge the speedo hole its safe and easy the only problem is the engine is in the way so it kind of haves to be done with the engine out.

Other then that go through the firewall in the fenders like others mentioned.

I know with a larger speedo hole you could easily route the complete EFI harness + vacum lines for the standalone built in map port + boost sensor wires + starter power wire because my battery is relocated in the back of the car that even includes the alternator B wires the thick set!

The main plus is you dont have to extend the JDM harness this way.

The reason I bring that up is because my brother just bought a soarer clip for his SC400 there harness is also shorter however if you drill a hole above the lower bracket for the climat box next to the gas pedal then run the wires over the top of trans tunnel uner the climate box all the wires and connectors reach with out even needing a jumper harness.

There's a nice big hole with a rubber grommet on it just above passenger feet, behind the AC boxes in the firewall. That's where I ran both on mine.
