why is it hard for me to get wheels that I want, everywhere I go, I see wheels in 16x7 or 17x7, why not wider? does any of you guys have a 16x7 or 17x7 wheel on there car that looks good, what size tire could I get, I wish I could find a 17x8 or 17x9, any pics would really help, would a aftermarket 16x7 really look bad. Drag makes a nice gold wheel.

If you get a 16, the widest tire available is 255. I have 16x8's on my car with a 245 Nitto Drag Radial in the back and 205 Yoko's in the front. Keep in mind my car sits a bit high cuz the weight reduction, but you get the idea. I believe Duane's (UpgradedSupra) bronze TRD rims are also 16's.

Here are some good shots of the wheels:

there are plenty of options for 17s out there in larger fitment width wise. look to the mk4 supra tt if you want some wider cheap rims.

plenty of options out there... you have NA MKIV rims (16x8 front and 16x9 rear) or the MKIV TT rims which are 17 inch and wider still. Also you could look at getting some FD RX7 rims (16x8 all around?) or even some Mustang Cobra R replicas. good luck.

MB competition wheels 16x8 25mm offset with the stock 225/50. Looks great though and the offset really made a difference in handling. I plan on replacing the tires with 245/45 in the next month or so. Car still looks like a sleeper even with the aftermarket wheels.

I have looked at lots of wheels, just to expensive for what I want, I might just stay with the 16-17" size. I was gonna get 350z wheels, but didn't go through, why do you have to put hubcentric rings on, I thought you did that with just aftermarket wheels. do the RX7 wheels bolt right up.

I picked up a set of mkiv tt wheels for $400 and falken ziex 512 tires for $400. So, 17x8 235/45 front and 17x9.5 275/40 rear for $800 plus another $60 for mounting and balancing.

What's your price range and style of rim you are looking for BTW? But, ebay has a shat load of rims for cheap.

Here's the rims and tires and a pic of them on my car. It's a good upgrade from stock sawblades and aren't that expensive.

I don't really have a price range, the most will be $1500. I just want something they looks decent, and doesn't weight to much, I like wheels, that fill the fender, not sit in and look like a car with 4 donuts. when you had the RX7 wheels on, did you have to buy Hubcentric rings? whats that about. these wheesl I like, but they are 17x7, what do you guys think, take a look

Rims I've got for sale ROH Drift-R 17x8" with 235/45 Mich Pilots, they have a 2" lip and come with tires.
I'd let these go for $800 + shipping, they have less than 3000 miles on them, not a scratch on the rims.
