I am looking at some new wheels and tires. My buddy works at sears and he said he could hook me up and get me a discount so I have been shopping around online seeing what kind of wheels and tires they carry. I have a silver 87 and I was thinking this Dunlop direzza sport z1 star spec tires on these motegi racing ff7 wheels. But I'm not sure what size tires/wheels to get. The car is stock height right now, but I running eibach pro springs and tokico illumina Struts in the future. What do you guys think?

I had a buddy that ran those tires, and he really liked them so I thought I would give them a chance. The wheels I was iffy on aswell. What I am really more concerned about is what size wheels/tires to look at.

TSW Wheels! They are very affordable, great quality and pretty light too. Got mine for $1100 shipped. 18x8.5 and 18x9.5

tires.com (american/discount tires) has some really nice wheels in there mb wheel line... they have 17x9 in some rims...

and sportmax (xxr?) makes some decent rims too... but 18x7.5 is uglyyyyyy

yea im gonna pick up the tires when i get some new rims. how much is he charging you for the tires?
definitely get some wider rims. its pointless to get 18" rims when they are skinny like that, not to mention they will look funny. i would get some 17x9 or 17x10 for functionality and comfort. 18s are a rough ride IMO

get at least 8 inch front and 9 inch rears. 17s will get better traction than 18s and will be lighter. try to get a forged wheel rather than cast. and try not to go low low offset if your car is gonna be really low

Just FYI I wasn't going to run that size. That was what I was unsure of. I was just giving you guys a picture of the wheel :) I'm not sure how much he is going to charge me for the tires. I need to go back and talk to him I have just been busy. Thanks for the input guys.
